SMS Messaging Terms of Service Effective Date: March 2026

1. Program Description: Motherboard ("we," "us," or "our") provides an AI-powered family inventory and anticipation service that sends personalized SMS reminders to help families stay ahead of their children's gear and clothing needs. By enrolling in the Motherboard SMS program, you agree to receive text messages related to your family's inventory, upcoming needs, and purchase reminders.

2. How to Opt In: You may opt in to receive SMS messages from Motherboard by submitting your mobile phone number through our enrollment form at motherboard-app.com. By submitting the form, you expressly consent to receive recurring automated text messages from Motherboard at the mobile number provided. Consent is not a condition of using any Motherboard service.

3. Message Frequency: Message frequency varies based on your family's inventory, calendar events, and seasonal needs.

4. Message and Data Rates: Message and data rates may apply. Check with your mobile carrier for details about your plan's messaging rates.

5. How to Opt Out:

  • Reply STOP at any time to unsubscribe from all Motherboard SMS messages. No further messages will be sent after your opt-out is processed.

  • You may also opt out by contacting us at hello@motherboard-app.com. After opting out, you will receive one final confirmation message. You can re-enroll at any time by re-submitting the enrollment form.

7. Supported Carriers: Motherboard SMS messages are supported by all major US carriers including AT&T, T-Mobile, Verizon, and most MVNOs. Carrier support is not guaranteed for all carriers.

8. Carrier Liability: Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.

9. Privacy: Your mobile number and SMS consent data are collected and used solely to deliver Motherboard's SMS service. We do not sell, share, or transfer your mobile number or opt-in consent to any third party for marketing or promotional purposes.  All text messaging originator opt-in data and consent information will not be shared with any third parties.

10. Eligible Users: Motherboard SMS messages are intended for users located in the United States. You must be 18 years of age or older to enroll.

11. Changes to These Terms: We may update these Terms of Service from time to time. We will notify enrolled users of material changes via SMS. Continued use of the service after notice constitutes acceptance of the updated terms.
